thank you

9x + 2a = 3a - 4x
9x - 4x = 3a - 2a
5x = a
x = 0,2a
9x - 4x = 3a - 2a
5x = a
x = 0,2a

I think...here:
9x + 2a = 3a - 4x
..... -2a....-2a
9x = 1a - 4x
+4x.........+ 4x
13x = 1a
/a....../a
so it should be x= 13/a
9x + 2a = 3a - 4x
..... -2a....-2a
9x = 1a - 4x
+4x.........+ 4x
13x = 1a
/a....../a
so it should be x= 13/a

mm math
ill show you how i did it, it really is simple once you get the hang of it
9x+2a=3a-4x
add 4x to each side, canceling out 4x on the right side and you get
13x+2a=3a
now subtract 2a from each side, you get
13x=a (if its 1 a you dont have to write 1 as the coefficient)
now divide each side by 13 and you get
x= a/13
hope i helped! just remember, whatever you do to one side you have to do to the other

9x + 2a = 3a - 4x
hm...
13x + 2a = 3a
13x = a
x = a/13
hm...
13x + 2a = 3a
13x = a
x = a/13

oh wow, i was a little late on that one
hahaha
sorry
hahaha
sorry

I made a mistake
9x + 2a = 3a - 4x
9x + 4x = 3a - 2a
13x = a
x = a/13

9x + 2a = 3a - 4x
9x + 4x = 3a - 2a
13x = a
x = a/13

all you smart people

Big_Denno | 01:35
I'm learning the same boring stuff

x0babiejennz | 01:36
LindsaY I tried to explain it, do ya see?

rawkerNoNagal | 01:36
if 9x + 2a = 3a - 4x
then x equals...
9x+2a=3a-4x
13x+2a=3a
13x=a
a/13=x

what a loser i am.

x0babiejennz | 01:38
No your not
its like a brain spasm. Sometimes your just too smart you brain cant function

Shit, wait until you get into engineering level calculus classes... the fun never ends.

don't ask me. I barely even passed algebra.

Dekar | 09:08
You're an engineering student and you just turned 17? You might want to not steal your older brother's career ideas anymore, because for someone supposedly doing Advanced Cal, you made a pretty big error in your calculation and haven't even recognised it yet.

theduncanstein | 03:13
Yeah, Civil Engineering here. Where you go to school?

My daughter is learning the same stuff at school this semester. She had severe trouble solving the problems. The teacher urged her to work independently at home to pass the final exam.

My daughter is learning the same stuff at school this semester. She had severe trouble solving the problems. The teacher urged her to work independently at home to pass the final exam. I found these printable worksheets online https://www.worksheetsgo.com . They are on different subjects, but our primary interest was math. By solving them, she developed her concentration. She used to do them every weekend. Luckily she passed the exam with a high grade and got congratulated by the teacher. Now she is looking for history and English exercises. I think I got her attention on these worksheets!

Read more:
if 9x + 2a = 3a - 4x
then x equals...
1. a
2. -a
3. 5a <- that's a fraction there

4. a

it's probably ridiculously easy...but i'm just not seeing anything here. any help would be appreciated.
