Some people say it but I think they are not! I don't want to believe that.

I love Evanescence, and I am Christian. Tell me they're not satanic. Please, tell me what you think.

no they're not...they're christian...ok its hard to explain...but theyre goths, not the goths you see today who are satanist, even though thats how people percieve ALL goths, but some goths are christians, and that's what they are

i am a christian and i do think they have good lyrics BUT i dont think they are necessarily christian and i have heard they are so maybe i can look into it some.

Evanescence, you joking me, I know a few of them are devout Christians. Satanic of course it's not!

They have Gothic elements in their music, but they're not that either, they're just nu-metal.

Look, you can beleive in God, and be Gothic at the same time, being a Goth isn't related to Satanic, though it's associated with it. Goth is a way of life NOT a religon, and in no way shape or form is it the devils.

That song was written by their drummer, for his former band, Evanescence COVERED it.

Some of the members are Christian, but not all, and in no way shape or form, do they sell themselves as Christian go to Evboard and read for yourself. They were signed to a Christian record label, but they changed.

Those of you who say you are Christians, check out I Thessalonians 5:22 - "Abstain from all appearance of evil." If any of them are Christians, they shouldn't even want to be associated with "satanic-like" stereotypes. There should be no question that we are believers. They are no exception.

Evanescence is not a Christian band. On of the band members-Ben Moody- once said, "We're actually high on the Christian charts, and I'm like, 'What the f--- are we doing there?'" If you ask me, that doesn't sound too Christian like!
