So I was going to post in Carole's older Poll, but it looks like the older polls don't allow you to post in them. Oh well.

Do you like mushrooms? I'm talking about the edible kind (not the drug ones).

They're so good - especially in salads, soups and on hamburgers.

When I learned about fungi in my school, I had made this stupid association between bread mould and mushrooms. Because of that I found them disgusting. Now that I know better, I try to eat them for their nutrition content but I still don't like them.

Yes yes yes! Easy to cook with....makes a filler for just about any dish...

You'd never realize (those who said no) where I could slip them in a meal and you'd never notice! Packages of dried mushrooms come back to life seeped (like tea) in hot water, ready to use!

Mushroom Pizza! Jeff would love it (not just mushrooms its one of 3-4 ingredients)--
I always take mushrooms on my Subway (hmmmm Sierra do you count those tiny mushroom pieces too, like the olives in the video?)
Chinese food.....most of the dishes have mushrooms in them! As well as some of the Japanese dishes too so the ones who don't like mushrooms are missing out on whole countries of foods!

I've never heard of mushrooms being against a religion, but maybe. My guess would be that Scott included that option because of Jeremy's previous answers in polls.

Depends on how they are prepared. I only really care for them if they are grilled, sometimes fried is okay, depends on what they are paired with. I will never eat them if they are on a pizza, disgusting. I love them grilled on steak, mmm.

No, I dislike them.

I have no problem with the taste (most don't really have much flavor anyway, other than earthy) but the texture throws me. I don't actively avoid them but i won't go out of my way to eat them. If a recipe calls for them I'll skip it if i can.

Not even if they're hidden in a pizza or some other sort of food that can hide them. Still taste like dirty fungus, even covered in sauce and cheese.
