I've won a boom box, bread maker, money, beverages, and gift cards. I've never won a big prize like thousands of dollars or a vacation.

Very rarely do I enter, unless it's simple, typically they want something from you, address, phone number, and then they send you junk mail. Not worth it since your odds of winning are slim to none.

I won the Spanish Lottery a few months back. Already sent in the $10,000 to cover the taxes, just waiting on paperwork to get my payout. It's even cooler because I don't actually remember signing up for the Spanish Lottery but whatever. I can't wait to get the cash through, I'm going to invest it with this charming Nigerian prince who needs some up-front cash to claim his inheritance then split the money with me for my troubles.

I would say most of the contests don't spam, but if they do you can immediately unsubscribe. You can you an alternative email so it doesn't go to your main email.

Does being entered into prize draws count? Like when I take surveys for cash, if I don't qualify for the survey, I'm automatically entered into a prize draw. I don't get extra junk mail from it or anything.

No, I haven't.

I'm terribly unlucky, I guess. The most I've ever won is $50 on a scratch-off lottery ticket. Gary has won a couple of gift cards from calling into radio stations though.

And currently, one of the grocery stores here is doing a Monopoly-type game like McDonald's does every year. I'm one square away from free groceries for a year!

Won a 10 speed bike when i was 10, i've won money in the lottery (not much), 500 bucks on slot machines on about 40dollars worth of tokens, a jar of m&ms when i was 8, and a whole slew of concert tickets. trying to when Def Leppard/REO Speenwagon/Tesla tickets this week.

On February 22, I also participated to a French radio contest, with 5 winners for a triple CD with many artists. The host put a question about Sam Smith's single Writing's On the Wall, and all that listeners had to do was sending him a mail with the right answer. I did and before midnight, he gave the 5 winners' names, there was a Céline but... That was not me.

Joey - I've won twice from survey prize drawings (200 USD each time) - it was a pleasant surprise as it was a smaller company. However, they sold off to a bigger company, and ever since then I've never won anything. Most survey companies seem to enter you into those drawings. Oh well.

As far as radio contests, I've never won. The closest I've come was to being the caller before the winner (I was caller 9, and they wanted caller 10). My mom's best friend won tickets to our local college basketball game in the suite with comfy chairs and catered food. We got to meet the radio worker, and she invited a lot of people! It was pretty fun and I liked watching the game.

I went to a Bridal show and won a kick ass wedding basket set with gift cards from tickets I got through out the show from vendors to enter a drawing.

Does that count?

In a whole seven years at Tops I won one thing. And employees have different game boards, pieces, and prizes.

Recently, I won a $25 Amazon gift card. They said to wait up to 8 weeks for delivery via email so I haven't received it, but it came as a big surprise to me.

One of the 10 lucky guys and gals to win Melody Gardot's latest live DVD, shot at Paris' Olympia. Heard the host said it was a great one!
