I have that album as well, Donny
Yeah, I still buy physical CDs on a regular basis, though I understand digital albums are more popular nowadays. I just find buying albums exciting, since they often contain liner notes and other neat things that you can't get with digital albums. It's also fun to simply add to my collection.

Aerosmith - Greatest Hits [1980]
(Yeah, I get that Nicolas - but I just don't have the $$$ to spend like that. I pay $10/month for Spotify Premium and $99/year for Amazon Prime and that gives me access to pretty much all music ever recorded! I can see the day when I can afford to collect vinyl 'cause I love the artwork and the liner notes, etc. would be fun, too!)

I've added a lot since Google Play is giving away free albums.

I figured you'd say that since you're moderating them
I just saw them live today, if you saw my post in the concert thread.

Oh wow, you got a Fixx compilation? Great choice
Did I introduce you to them when I had you transcribe their songs for me, or did you know them before that?

I've heard their songs on the radio, but I didn't know it was them. Plus, we have worked on their stuff on the site and I figured I might as well start buying their stuff.

How does Atlas Genius's second album compare to their first?

MCSMeister | 21:22
I haven't listened to enough of it to properly answer that right now, but based on the two I've heard ("Stockholm" and "Molecules") they're definitely more electronic and synth-heavy than what I've heard from their debut (which seemed to be more guitar-based). The guitars are still there, but the keyboard is much more prominent.

^ Nice I'm going to see them on Wednesday.

Bought two more for my birthday yesterday:
The Black Keys - El Camino [2011]
Earth, Wind & Fire - Greatest Hits [1998]
That's great Kaleb! You'll have to let me know how they are. I really loved their last album (More Than Just a Dream) so hopefully this one is decent as well. I thought "HandClap" was sub-par at first but it's growing on me a little (and it's becoming really popular, too).

They are great live! Glad I got to hear "Out Of My League" and "The Walker". "HandClap" is a fun one in concert but my favorite tracks on the new album so far are "Roll Up" and "Complicated".

That's great! Did they do anything from their first album? I honestly haven't listened to anything from their debut since I was first introduced to their stuff from More Than Just a Dream (which is when they seemed to really break out, anyways) but I'm curious. All of those songs you listed from the new album are pretty good. I just listened to "Roll Up" today, actually, seems like it's a lot more fast-paced than the other two.
