I saw this on another forum and thought it might be nice for us, too. I checked with a mod to make sure they felt it was different enough from the 'Things You Love' thread, so to make sure there isn't any confusion:

Whilst 'Things You Love' is mostly for the common, general things in our lives, this thread is for the more unexpected, random, specific occurrences.

"Acts of kindness" would be a thing you love, but reading about or experiencing a specific act would be what you'd post here. For example, I might post in the 'Things You Love' thread that I love cheese, because I do – every minute of every day

. Here, though, I would post if someone surprised me by randomly buying me a cheese I favour or have yet to try.

Also, links to images of adorable animals; an amusing comic sketch; a sweet news story; unexpected kind words; something else cool that you spot online. That kind of thing. Spread the smiles.
