The additional tabs may have just been a result of one of the sites you visit.
I left my comp on LSI and they opened automatically while I was eating some dessert - I downloaded both.OK, ready for Norton.

Wait a minute, what should I do with Drivers Manager and Tuneup Pro? How do I uninstall them? Is using the "add/remove programs" the best solution?

I'd get rid of them, yes using add/remove programs is the best.

An answer, please!

Celine, he's probably busy, don't rush him.

I answered you Celine

Drivers Manager and Tuneup Pro
Removed both.
What's the next step, using malwarebytes again?

You can if you like, malwarebytes would have gotten the issues anyway

Joe I need your help if you know anything about Apple/iPads.

juicy1 | 19:04
I do, whats up?

PinkFloyd | 20:02
So I'm sure it has something to do with the iOS 8 update. I knew I should have waited to update. Anyway, I use the Safari browser on my iPad only because it's standard, but it's been wigging out since the update. Slow with lots of other frustrating problems. So I tried downloading Chrome and Firefox browsers. Both are better except the iPad keyboard (which inappropriately takes up half of the already small screen) keeps popping up whenever I click a new link to open a new page. I don't even have to be in a typing box. I did a little searching and all I can find is how to fix this same problem but only on an iPhone. Do you have any ideas? I was looking into this iOS downgrade that Apple is offering for a short period because people are so angry but I read through comments and it seems more trouble, plus you need a PC to complete it and I don't have one.

PinkFloyd | 20:05
Also I cannot highlight text, copy and paste for some reason.

PinkFloyd | 20:08
Maybe I just need to wait for them to fix it with the next upgrade. But it's aggravating. I can't do any artist work on here.

juicy1 | 20:11
I'm hearing its a pretty common problem. Can you backup your ipad and then factory reset and restore? Thats the solution apple recommends so far.

PinkFloyd | 20:14
How would I backup my stuff? Sorry. I know you would usually use a CD for a PC.

juicy1 | 20:17
Does apple have cloud storage you can back it up to?

PinkFloyd | 20:19
Is that what iCloud is? If yes then I have that on here, never knew what it was for though.

juicy1 | 20:35
Yeah, This should help with the backup

PinkFloyd | 20:42
It looks like it can't backup music, which is all I care about backing up, so I will just do the reset without backing up anything. There's nothing else on here of importance. Or is that a really bad idea?

juicy1 | 20:47
It should be able to back that up:
Here's what iCloud backs up:
Purchase history for music, movies, TV shows, apps, and books
Your iCloud backup includes information about the content you have purchased, but not the purchased content itself. When you restore from an iCloud backup, your purchased content is automatically downloaded from the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store. Some types of content aren't downloaded automatically in all countries, and previous purchases may be unavailable if they have been refunded or are no longer available in the store. For more information, see the Apple Support article iTunes in the Cloud availability by country. Some types of content aren't available in all countries. For more information, see the Apple Support article Which types of items can I buy in my country?.
Photos and videos in your Camera Roll
Device settings
App data
Home screen and app organization
iMessage, text (SMS), and MMS messages
Ringtones
Visual Voicemail
It's not going to hurt or break the ipad by factory resetting though.

The link you gave me says, "iCloud Backup doesn't back up music, movies, and TV shows that you didn't purchase from the iTunes Store, or any podcasts, audio books, or photos that you originally synced from your computer."
Are you sure the stuff above isn't just for iPhones? Because the Voicemail, SMS, Ringtones and all that is not on iPad. Sorry I'm not trying to question your knowledge I just don't want to mess this up.

It doesnt know about stuff you pulled in from your computer but it does know about your itunes purchases. Do you have stuff from an old computer on there and not just from itunes?
On the iCloud backup page it says this:
ou have important information on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. iCloud automatically backs up your device over Wi-Fi every day while it's turned on, locked, and connected to a power source. With your device information backed up in iCloud, you can easily set up a new device or restore information on one you already have.
Nothing to apologize for buddy

Ok, I might as well try it, thanks Joe. I will let you know.

Is there a way to either access IE on a Chrome book or download Java for a Surface? I feel like that's a dumb question, though. I can run Java on my Chrome book, but not IE (cuz this is Google world), and I have IE on my Surface, but it doesn't support Java.
Anyway, I'm asking because some of the assessments I have to take require: Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or later running on Microsoft Windows XP or later desktop or laptop PC. Online Testing will also function on PC or Mac versions of Google Chrome 15 or later, Mozilla Firefox 3.0 or later, and Safari 2.0 or later on Mac. And: Java security update - version 1.7.0_11.
So it looks like I'm probably going to need to take a field trip to the library for these, right?
