im giving up smoking

yes me...ME! the f*ckin smoker of the world. i started years ago...and this evening...ive decided it isnt worth it...

ok so w2ish me luck n ill keep u all informed!

This is true Kent, but this is not a thread for preachers who probably have never had the same tempations to smoke anyway! My mum has always smoked, I reckon I was addicted waaaay before I even started smoking at 14/15

I never said he was my idol..and I know he did..that's his mistake. He's not my role model or anything like that. I'm just saying it's sick, my dad smoked all the time and quit for a while but wouldn't quit and he's sick right now. All I said it was sick...I never said people that did it were bad though

Because a lot of the time they can't help it...it doesn't matter if who I admire smoked. That's not even what I was talking about..

i never saw this thread. but i think its great that ur quitting. i have never smoked or had the tempation to but i am all for quitting. i lost quite a few people to cigarettes too. actually my uncle is having surgery today on part of his lung bc of smoking. but congrats i hope you make it

Congrats! My mom quit smoking almost 2 years ago. (She started when she was 12 or 13 and she's 49 right now.) But she just started again about two weeks ago. But there are problems in the family, and she's a lot older and has smoked a lot longer, so I think you can do it!!

It makes me sick, I yell at her everyday. You'll smell much better for it and you'll be much healthier.
