think the greatest vocalist is Jazzy. She is a new artist in LA. Check her out at her official myspace page www.myspace.com/jazzjeff

I'm so glad Geoff Tate got on the very first list. Queensryche may not be my favourite band, but Geoff is DEF number one vocalist EVER.
James Hetfield took far too long to get a mention, as did Rob Thomas, who is simply phenomenal. The singer from Creed is also awesome.
Not all of the best, but most of them.

Freddie, obviously.

In no particular order

Emillie Autumn
Andre Bocelli
Maynard James Keenan
Skye (ex-morcheeba lead)
Tracy Chapman
Skin (Skunk Anansie)
Matt Bellamy
Bjork
Marianne Faithfull (guest vocalist for 'Memory Remains' - Metallica)
Eva Cassidy
Beth Gibbons (Portishead)
Brandon Boyd
Tori Amos

They may not have particularly strong vocals but they have pretty unique styles and have really made that work for themselves.
