To me, the greatest is my most favorite singer James Otto and yes I know that other singers are way more well known, but when James sings, all that I will ever hear is a soul filled voice with heart and passion pouring right out of it!!! (SQUEALS)
God bless you and James always!!!

I think there are so many great vocalists out there, but I'm really impressed with Lorde. She's only 16 and she has amazing vocals.

It's hard to pick from these two, Rob Halford and W. Axl Rose, both are good enough to be proclaim as the voice of this planet!

I hate to admit, but I do agree. Out of the modern music that I do listen to, I have heard some of her songs, which I've ultimately ended up liking. Her voice is really soothing and sounds mature for her age.
Favorite song of hers that I've heard so far is probably "White Teeth Teens". Those backing vocals give me chills every time.

The newest addition to what would be my list of who I think is the best is soul country/pop singer Billy Joe Royal. To me, his voice is smoother than a baby's back end. (smiles) God bless you and his family always!!! Holly P.S. I just wish that his going forward three months ago was not what it had to take in order for me to realize who I had been missing out on all of this time because now I can not tell him that I love him and I hate it!!! (trying not to cry again)

I am just now realizing that I have not mentioned my newest favorite here yet. What makes it worse for me is that its another singer who isn't here anymore. (God, help me, what is your reason for this???) Any way, my newest favorite is the former lead of the Oak Ridge Boys. Steve Sanders is his name and from now on I guess that you can say that I will forever be the property of his beautiful and precious memory...I could watch and listen to him all day, I love him so much. God bless you and his family always!!! Holly P.S. June 10, 1998 was the day of his going forward...another question for the Lord: Why did it have to be suicide that took him? (trying not to cry again)
