Huh, kinda difficult question, 'cause I rarely waste time for finishing a book that I don't like; which means the very worst one I've ever been reading is probably one of the unfinished ones...
But when I should pick a bad one from the ones I've finished, it could be The Idiot by F.M.Dostoyevsky or Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen.

Fall On Your Knees by Ann Marie MacDonald was awful. It wasn't necessarily poorly written but I don't even know how to explain it. I felt like a lot of things were explained in weird riddles like you were never sure if what you thought she meant was really true. Especially since it would be on topics like incest so I don't know it's not usually one of the first things you think of. I've read reviews calling it this wonderful epic. I did not agree at all. It was long, boring. Utterly depressing & unsettling. I don't care how awesome you think Oprah is baaaaaaad book choice.

I'd have to say Angela's Ashes. The wording and spelling are terrible.

I am in absolute shock as to your opinions about bad books.
I mean, classics aren't called classics for no reason! How can you say that Charlotte Bronte, or Charles Dickens, or George Orwell, or Franz Kafka, wrote anything bad? Those people are geniuses!
Probably because you study them at school.
Although some books became my favourite just because I studied them at school and learned of their hidden meaning.

I'm a book fanatic.
