I didn't know they did combination stores, but it makes sense - they are the same parent company. Since Dollar Tree is now $1.25 and more it kind of makes sense to combine them. In some spots in our town, there is a Family Dollar and right next door is Dollar Tree so it's kind of like they're a combo store. Kind of cool, huh?

Good going on saving the gift cards. I wonder if I will buy Amazon Prime again this year. They keep raising it up and up.

Howdy everyone. Hope everyone is better that has been sick. I'm on the last day of my antibiotic. I felt like crap most of last week.
Back to work today, short week, 3 days, then dental appt for Nikki.
Crappy week for celebrities. Sad to see news about Lisa Marie Presley, but she did not look good at all at the Golden Globes

Back again.......and it's been another one of those weeks. One of our top executives died from a massive heart attack last week, and a cousin of mine lost his wife to cancer Saturday morning. Kinda tired of death being so greedy lately.

In football news......Eagles hopefully versus the Chiefs in the Superbowl. I say hopefully after Mahommes got hurt Saturday.

I went four for four on my picks this week and made my lost $50 back and some. There were some great games, and then there were the Cowboys and Giants. Disappointing end to their season, especially the Cowboys. They just couldn't do anything. I definitely was not expecting the Eagles to make a legit run like this again.

So sorry for those losses, Carl. Death is very greedy indeed. Hope you are doing well.

I believe USPS opened my package. Nothing was missing and I'm not sure if that's supposed to be reported. We've had issues in the past with missing mail and that's why I got informed delivery

It's raining here and the schools decided to close early. I wish I could work a full work week, always something going on with the schools though (holidays, kids sick, weather closures)

I had Amazon do that for some reason. The items were all there but they opened the package? The picture they took even showed the package was opened as I thought it was a neighbor being nosey. D, the post office is horrible. We got informed delivery I think around 2016 or so when the post office really was crappy in our area.

Wait, schools can let out early for a little rain?! Or was it flooding?
