Sorry about loss of your close friend Carl.

Saw Last Jedi last night...was a bit disappointed. It was good...but kind of a let down in spots.

As Star Trek fan I know you're aware of the Star Trek films being poor on the odd numbered ones and great on the even numbered ones.

So maybe something like that is occurring with Star Wars? Has anyone heard of it? (Don' t know how one would "Google" that and get less than "infinity" results).

Popular vote is only 65% like the new Star Wars "The Last Jedi" but 93% of the critics loved it, so that is good for ticket sales at least which in the end is the only thing that counts since its the second largest opening on a Thursday for Star Wars ever.

Practice. I really need to see it again in a better theater. The one in Leavenworth just got bought out and they are going to remodel, but it will be several months. we went one last time there to remember how bad the place got. lol
I just think they tried a little too hard in a couple of spots. Once everyone has seen it, I think they will understand. It was good, but lacked a bit. And JJ Abrahams will have a tough time to make 9...just sayin.
