well I come from Australia and here are the Australian teams I support

for the Australian football league its the Sydney Swans!!! the sport the swans play is called AFL and its a sport that was invented
in australia it has elements from NFL in it too. go to www.afl.com.au to find out more

for the National rugby league its the brisbane broncos

for the NBL my basketball team is the sydney kings

for the netball (yes they actually screen netball on tv and I was amazed at how interesting it was. don't laugh I really don't mind watching games a bit)
my team is the Sydney Swifts. but netball crowds are usually less than 1000 I think

and cricket its NSW in the national competition and Australia when they play international

and my rugby union super 12 team is definately the NSW HSBC waratahs
the NSL its the sydney soccer team what ever they are called

for any other sports where a nation competes its always australia

in terms of sports in other countries well I don't see em much but I still suppor the following teams

english premier league its chelsea (I saw a couple of games this year and they were great)
when the world cup is on my team asutralia hasn't actually made the world cup since the 1970s so i they're not in I usually like brazil

american teams as follows
NFL: its the dallas cowboys
major league baseball: its the new york yankees
NBA: its definately the charlotte hornets
haven't really been able to see ice hockey but I like the mighty ducks

Clubs - Manchester United, Bayern Munich. And Everton. If I had to choose a Lithuanian team, I'd say Vilnius Zalgiris.

Basketball:
International - Lithuania
Clubs - Kaunas Zalgiris.

Rugby:
Wales

Chelsea FC (football team from England)

i give a support to this team because she has an Israeli coach
named Avram Grant,and i'm very happy for this accomplishment
for coach from little country and almost unknown in the European
football,to stand on the line of the Stamford Bridge in every game.
meanwhile,Avram Grant got more then 15 games in all the competitions,
he is in the right way.

in the past i was a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers (basketball team)
because of Kobe&Shaq,and all the history with the champions.

How is basketball and soccer exciting to watch? It's not. If you were in person I can understand but on tv...sooo boring. I've tried it, trust me.

Hockey is where it's at but it's probably a biased opinion since I'm Canadian.
I love all Toronto teams, Leafs, Blue Jays, Rock, Marlies, Raptors sure,
I also enjoy San Jose Sharks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames as well as the Tampa Bay Lightning from the NHL.
