5) Apply for The Amazing Race with my sister before the end of the year
6) Improve my Cantonese skills
7) Use the Crockpot to make more home-cooked meals
8) Understand more about finance/economics
9) Memorize all of the important phone numbers in my life
10) Finish this theology book I'm going through

Hope you get accepted to 'The Amazing Race', Kaleb!

I don't usually make resolutions, but now I have a few things I've been thinking I will take on more seriously. Fresh start.
1. Start working out more regularly again
2. Eating healthier
3. Get a job, any job. It's time to lower my standards a bit, 'cause any job is better than this unemployment crap
And the most cliché of all:
4. Make every day count

It is a good rule to live by. Lately I've felt that most days just pass by without much substance, and that is no way to live.

After everything happened in August, I swore I would make every day and every moment count to the best of my ability....

Stop eating meat, even though I used to do it once a week.
Eat more apples and drink less tea, especially at night.
Try to get a new sofa, in case my back hurts more and more.

I tend to write one long posting, not interested in getting my posting amounts higher by splitting this one up, so everyone find your name below::

Great topic Kaleb, thanks for having it here....

Great List for yourself, Good luck in accomplishing them...

There are "books" or articles I've seen about how to get on those reality shows, if you're really interested in gaining access over the 1000's who try. I don't know you well enough to suggest anything yet to help you... but I'm sure you'll let us know if you make it so we can cheer you and your sis on!

Carl and Lisa! Great Number 4 motto for your lives, for anyone's lives!

Good to see you Jeff with a long list, now let's all try to help you get them accomplished!

16 days late, but I'm gonna just extend last year's because it went so well:

1. Drink more
2. Smoke more
3. Eat fattier foods
4. Exercise less

As long as I really put my mind to it I should be able to do all of them other than #4 with, like, no real effort.

Stop eating meat, even though I used to do it once a week.

Not ready yet, so I'll wait until next month to do so.
Eat more apples and drink less tea, especially at night.

Started it. I should eat 2 apples a day and drink less than 12 cups a day.
Try to get a new sofa, in case my back hurts more and more.

It's on its way. My parents urged me to choose one out of 5 because of an important promotion! But... My back stopped hurting me 2 weeks ago and I'm not ready to change my bed/sofa yet!

All done!

Stop eating meat, even though I used to do it once a week.

Just started it. I had some salad yesterday.
Eat more apples and drink less tea, especially at night.

For the apples, that's OK, I have one in the morning and the other in the mid-afternoon/the early evening. For the tea, I'm still wondering.
Try to get a new sofa, in case my back hurts more and more.
It has been delivered yesterday afternoon. I said I wasn't ready yet, but... This afternoon, my parents told me to leave my room during 30 minutes, so they could remove the old one and take the new one in! This exile was much too short. And I'm still not ready to use the new one.

#8 is coming along nicely - I think I'll be playing a lot more piano this year.
#9 is planned as well - planning to visit some friends in Chicago at the end of the month, and then having a friend visit Phoenix in March.

Um, kinda. I have a plan at least - 1) Have a timeline to become a state employee, or start applying to other jobs (first choice right now is Seattle, but we'll see)
Better than at the beginner of the year I think - 2) Exercise 5 days a week and eat healthier, get back to regular cholesterol and/or 145 pounds
Kind of - 3) Have a better idea of who I'm going to spend the rest of my life with
Scheduled for September - 4) Get a physical
Done! - 5) Find a new place to live (not a good idea for me to live long-term with a cat since I'm allergic)
Nope.... - 6) Complete the Bible reading challenge
Nope.... -7) Wear my retainer
Close enough 8) Play an instrument at least once a week
Done! - 9) Plan at least two trips either with friends, to visit friends, or have them visit me
Not yet - 10) Apply for The Amazing Race with my sister (probably not Survivor though, haha)

3. I gained some weight....working on that.
4. On hold...i had to rebuild another room.
5. Parttime job is status quo
6. Changed paths...but going fantastic.!
