I went to a concert last Tuesday night it was the Civic Tour- New Found Glory and Good Charlotte Headlined; Diasasters and Less Than Jake opened. It was awesome, except Good Charlotte sucked live, that's okay I went for NFG anyways...my favorite band!

I'm going to the 'Try Shut Me Up' Tour with Avril Lavigne headlining; Simple Plan, Gob, and Swollen Members are opening. That concert is in 8 days, April 20th...can't wait!

What concerts are you goin to?!?!?

I won free tickets from a radio station to go to day 1 of Summer's End Music Festival. Looking forward most to Andrew McMahon (of Jack's Mannequin and Something Corporate fame) and American Authors, but Capital Cities, O.A.R., and Lindsey Stirling should also be good.

I'm planning to ask a friend to see Anberlin...it is their final tour.

Apparently Panic! At The Disco is playing at ASU on Oct. 29. I might go...but I'm already going to Jimmy Eat World the day after! Then the week after I'm going back to Seattle to see Relient K.

Looking forward to all of them!

Went to a free Hawk Nelson show on Friday. I think I found someone to go with to the Death Cab For Cutie/Panic! At The Disco/Family Of The Year concert with me (!), and then free Twenty One Pilots and Bleachers at the Chipotle Cultivate Festival!

I went to see The Orchestra play at Disney World yesterday. If anyone doesn't know who they are, they're basically an offshoot of the famous '70s group Electric Light Orchestra with some former members of the band in it. Mik Kaminski (ELO's original violin player) was there, but Louis Clark (ELO's conductor) wasn't, and his son was there instead. So really there was only one truly "original" guy in the band and the rest were either new to The Orchestra with no prior affiliation, or from ELO Part II, which was the offshoot before The Orchestra.

They played 3 half-hour shows and I saw the first two. Though definitely not the same charm as ELO, since Jeff Lynne was the heart of the band, they weren't bad at all.

As for upcoming concerts, I'm seeing "Weird Al" Yankovic for the third time this August

Going to see The Australian Pink Floyd & Led Zeppelin 2 in July. Then it's Lynyrd Skynyrd again in August. Robert Plant & the Sensational Space Shifters was postponed so I'm going in September. The Who & Leon Bridges in October.

Didn't mention the Chris Tomlin and Tenth Avenue North concert in April - Tenth Avenue North has been one of my favorite artists lately.

Imagine Dragons in July! Going to try to win tickets to Brand New / Jimmy Eat World / Manchester Orchestra / Thrice in September since they're in pretty expensive, but I'd be willing to pay for them as well.

I ended up winning tickets to the previous one I mentioned, which was awesome! Saw Linkin Park this past Sunday at a park 15 minutes walk from my apartment - it was $100 to get in so we didn't do that, but we could still kind of see the show from a ledge across the street. Going to see Hanson in two days, haha. Then I'm really hoping to see Of Monsters And Men (mostly them), George Ezra, and X Ambassadors in December. Maybe also Rise Against and The Wonder Years / Motion City Soundtrack this month. Muse is also coming to town but I feel like I have a lot of shows coming up.

Barenaked Ladies, OMD and Howard Jones all in one show in June...tickets bought! ANNNNDDD Heart, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and Cheap Trick all in one show in August....tickets bought! that will probably do it for me this year, unless i can win some tix.

Sweet! Let us know how Echosmith and YTG are. I really enjoyed Echosmith when I saw them, I'd imagine they'll do a similar setlist when you see them.

It didn't happen

The concert was canceled due to weather! Only Lukas Graham played and I wasn't too impressed. Oh well...Motion City Soundtrack in two weeks.
