I'm officially on the "watching because I need to know how this ends" bandwagon.

Nobody deserves that throne. Let Cersei keep it, the nominal heroes are waaaaay too dumb to earn it.

Do you think Euron is going to put it together that Tyrion knows about the baby when he shouldn't know about it?

That episode was such a let down and it made me not want to watch the show anymore.

Probably. It'll be interesting when Jaime gets to Kings Landing though.

Yeah there's a lot of "we really to wrap this up so let's make the characters about 20% dumber" feel to it

Hey how come that Greyoy fleet could hide behind some rocks and get like 5 uncontested shots at a dragon before anyone noticed they were there, but Dany couldn't fly behind those same rocks to burn that whole fleet to ash from behind? It extremely bums me out that I could assemble a random assortment of like 8 men and women from Reddit and Twitter who could have churned out a better arc from seasons 6-8 than this group

Oh well, 2 episodes to go, then we find out who gets the unenviable task of governing the smouldering wreckage of westeros

It was very much a filler episode and it was kind of disappointing. Too close to the end for random content and that's what most of this felt like.

The filler episodes were 1 and 2 this season tbh. So much table setting to raise the stakes for episode 3 and or never reached the lofty heights we were expecting. The better approach would have been having the zombie battle in ep 2, so there could more focus on the "last war"

Just talking about it with my wife last night bugged me because there are tons of threads that could have been better woven into the narrative including the Vale, Dorne among others. Ahh well, gonna finish it but will always wonder what could have been.

They mentioned Dorne very briefly. Then I thought about Ellaria, because she was captured in season 7, but not killed right?

I feel like that there are so many aspects that they might just brush off just to finish the show.

Also, I mentioned to my husband that Euron will probably pick up on that next episode, because he has to be smart enough to know that she didn't tell Tyrion about the baby that quickly

I loved Missandei. My heart's broken. But also her last words were hot.

I knew that's what she was gonna say and part of me really, really wanted the dragon to light up the platform but then obviously he probably would've died and I don't think they respond to anyone but Dany. But it was hot and in the moment me wanted some fire.

Right? I didn't know. I love how most people are like 'Dany needs to be careful blah blah blah' and beautiful, sensible Missandei was like 'fucking burn them all, bitch.' Oh Lorde, my vagina melted. But then they lobbed her head off and I was sad.

Although I would've liked it even better if somehow she'd pushed Cersei off the edge instead.

Anyhow, be it my northern roots or what, but I find myself wanting the Starks on top more than anyone else. Sansa is a rock star just by being her. It's a shame Arya doesn't want to lead. I like Jon, but I don't think he's up to the task.

This is everything I didn't know I needed.

One of my friends pointed out that King's Landing was surrounded by water and mountains with trees, but last episode it was dry, flat land. Not sure if anyone here mentioned that already or not

I'm resigned to the fact that I'm more upset that veep is ending tomorrow. That show changed showrunners and stayed funny even once American politics slipped past the point of satire and parody. I'll miss it immensely.

I've seen some potential spoilers. Gonna have to cover a lot of ground in like 3 hours in think

Someone will. I don't think she'll make it. It'll be someone that can get close to her without her being worried.
