Now, I don't know if it's just a think thats going on in the Uk - (I don't know if primark exists elsewhere) but what is the new obsession with this shop?! I've never been there - have no idea what clothes they sell... but everyone seems to be going there... Anyone want to shine a little light onto this?? because I havn't a clue!

Yeah but they do trends in that lets-all-look-the-same highstreet way, I hate those glossy blonde types who follow every single trend to the t and buy their whole 'matching' outfit in Primark (or Topshop). Well I dont hate them, but I think they look pretty darn stupid and unimaginative, you have to be careful with a shop like Primark.

^ I ahgree. That's one of the things that annoys me about Primark - everything is so over mass produced that you often see loads of people wearing the exact same thing as you. That's why I tend to only buy really plain things from them, like jumpers, shirts, and t-shirts. Although I have to say, when I got my waistcoat from there, they only had a few, and I've never seen anyone else wearing the same one as me.

Yeah I'm the same. I think if you mix and match from different shops in general and don't wear outfits as shown on manaquins (why why why do people do that?) you can get away with it hehe

Pimark is bloody brilliant, especially for me with virtually no money. Me and a mate went to the one in Leeds when it first opened - it was really scary and we got sucked in with the crowd. Though I have lived to tell the tale.

There isnt one too close to me, but I went to the one at the Metro Centre in Newcastle, and it seemed okay. It struck me as very cheap, a bit like Matalan.

I just got a pair of black cropped jeans for £6 and a plain black top for £2.50, so they're easy to wear with anything really, being black. I could have got them from anywhere.

But I can imagine it's best to mix and match. Just like you should with any outfit really. Wearing a whole outfit from one store could just look overdone, like Topshop for example. Not only is it very expensive! But also, all the clothes look the same in a way. Like overly "trendy". It just looks like you've tried too hard.

if the outfit is nice i'll buy one to treat myself every so often but i do tend to mix outfits if i have them. and they look fine

i find my green top works best with my red and grey striped jacket than my green and blue top.
