Me and my friend were thinking about going to sydney next xmas and would want to make some friends/contacts who know good places to party and nice places to visit. Anyone who has visited sydney, what would you suggest we do when we get there? Any great nightclubs where they dance like wild animals? Any fun underground parties ala electronic rave?

Hey! I was in Sydney a few months ago. Not a big partier but in terms of places to visit, the Taronga Zoo is probably the best zoo I've ever been to, Blue Mountain is definitely worth the visit, and Cockatoo Island is like an Australian version of Alcatraz.

did you do anything else than visit those places?

been to luna park (the name goes something like that..) ? is there any places to go to that aren't tourist attractions?
