I have done a few minor updates to the forum :

1) The "User" category has been removed. The threads is this category were just like of those in the "General" category. I move all the thread of the "User" category to the "Geberal" catergory.

2) I organized the categories to the 'groups' :

- Song Related
- Artist Related
- Forum related
- LetsSingIt.com Related
- Arts
- Society
- General

3) I added the category 'Announcement'. I see a lot of users posting announcements, like that they go away for a few weeks. I think this important information gets lost in the large pool of general threads. So I made a special category for it. Maybe there is no own category needed for this.. then I'll remove it again

More tips/ideas? Let me know

Danny boy... don't worry, Ray sees almost everything... he does not necessarily reply to the post, but he sees them, and he does what he wants at the end of the day.

honestly, i cant understand why the "user" category has been removed. it was one of the biggest categories & a lot of the threads there were aimed at **all** users.

Yeah I agree, look how big General Discussion is now, it's too big.

not to mention that the "chat" category is now going to be even more flooded with "blah blahs thread" or "thread for blah blah" :/

yeah, true. Where else would they put it, cause General Discussion is just way too big. You would make a thread for someone and they would probably never even seen it if it wouldnt be in Active.

I'm not going to say if it's a good or bad idea because I don't really make a lot of topics... but I noticed that the Humor category doesn't have a moderator yet.

the general category would take forever to go through but if someone had the time to go through heaps of the older threads in that category, i think it would be found that a lot are able to me moved & fit into different categories. would be very time consuming though.

oh & skribble: i think ray is waiting to observe who would be best for the job before appointing anyone.

my view: with the introduction of a few new categories not long ago, (ie: fashion, complain corner etc), there also came new mods, therefore, although there are a few ppl without mod jobs that i think would be excellent for the role, i dont think we need anymore new ones as there is already heaps. i think one of the existing ones should moderate "humour", perhaps one of the newer ones that dont have many categories yet.

Hey guys.. I already noticed the Gerneral category is too big. What do you guys suggest to clean it up? What new categories would be needed?

Hey Ray! I think the changes are great, the site is alot clearer and easier to use, good stuff.

Also, I don't feel we need any new mods, too many mods wouldnt be a good thing, we have plenty, more would just be pointless. Oh yeah, and I'd just like to say I'm not neglecting my mod role - I actually dont have the internet at home at the moment, I should get it back any time soon, I just couldnt afford to get it fixed until now

Urm Jonne... I think that General Chat, Complain Corner, Relationship/Friendships, TV/Movies etc. already do the job...

I really think the user category needs to be brought back but that's just my opinion. It's been mentioned before i know but i really think that a "School/College/University" category would be useful to discuss different education centres as well as ask and provide assistance to others for school work or whatever. Id also like to say that i think its a very good idea to merge the "poetry" & "books" categories into a "literature" category
