Finally got the site up and working. Apparently I have two ESPN accounts and I couldn't figure out the one that owns the league (got it finally!) But here we go, who's in this year? We need 10ish teams for a good league.

Draft will be Sunday August 18th at 11am EST. If you can't be there, make sure your autodraft is set up how you want it!

I'll play for money if people want to as long as it's in the neighborhood of 10 bucks or so. I agree a bit with Joey tho, I already won and didn't get anything!

I agree tho. I don't know how we'll handle payouts of the winners didn't contribute, but we could see who wants to pitch in before we decide on that part.

We could just payout to those who pay. So for example, if Lisa wins, Joey's second, Jeff 3rd, me 4th and Joe 5th. Payouts would still be the percentages Joe said, but they'd go to 2nd, 4th and 5th place instead of 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Make sense?

That's what my original post said before I edited it. The only issue is that we could potentially end up with 6th, 7th, 9th place players getting prize money, which would be weird.

Yeah, I thought that too. I guess we'd have to wait to see if that was an issue. It'll really depend first on who wants to put money in. If we have more takers than not, I don't think we'll have to worry much.

we'll both join in on the gambling - agree it should be optional and applicable only to the people who buy in before the season starts. $10 sounds super reasonable

any draft dates so far? would love to get it done before the 31st as we're off on holiday from then onwards

What about the 18th? I know I'll be home that day cuz we're doing dinner for my sister's birthday. 6pm-ish like last year?
I assume a weekend day would be better for most, but I'm open to suggestions. If a weekday works, we could do that too.

Would morning/early afternoon on the 18th be good? Like anytime before 3pm-ish is fine. I'll be fine for whatever that day except during dinnertime.
