I hate how "classics" are always really boring and confusing. And they always have some sexual thing in them and/or lots of swearing, so how are we allowed to read them in school?

I'm sorry but nothing can compare in crapiness to The Grapes of Wrath. That book was just 600 pages of the same boring dialogue and description.

The worst book I've ever read is definetly The Old Man and the Sea. I feel asleep like 10 times while reading it, why I'm I supossed to be interested in reading like 80 pages of how a man caught a fish?

okay three books come to mind:

1) The Hobbit
2) The Eagle and the Raven
3) The Light in the Forest

i had to read all three in one year, and i swear to god that was the hardest and most boring year of english i've ever taken.

Curious George goes to the Museum-

The only well rounded charachter in that book (not to mention the whole God-Forsaken series) is the actual primate himself. The Man with the Yellow Hat is as dry as my Grandmother's holiday turkey and has been rumoured to be a closeted homosexual.

The plot is loose and caould used a bit more of a climax. George climing on the Dinosaur bones, I admit was thrilling, (Would he make it down okay?) but really seemed to lack lustre after that.

Sure this series would satisfy the tastes of thousands of toddlers who have no real concept to literature, but like Pokey the Puppy and the Amelia Bedelia before it, it will fade away unnoticed into the void of cheap thrills.
