No, I don't mean rocket propelled grenades so all you anarchists can put your weapons down

Meanwhile, all you gamers can pick your weapons up - by RPG I do of course mean Role Play Games. From Pokemon to Dungeon Siege, World of Warcraft to Final Fantasy, this thread is dedicated to them all.

Which RPGs do you play? Are some better or worse than others? Do you have any tips that might make playing the games a little easier for others who are just starting out with them?

I'll try to throw a "RPG Spotlight" in this thread every so often to highlight one that I enjoy a lot, and everyone else is welcome to do the same.

Let battle commence!

Pokemon is a great game series... It really is ideal for any newcomers to the PRG genre. It's a very simple game to learn, and each chapter has an engaging storyline to keep you playing.

It was the first GB game I ever got. Now, I am currently replaying Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons, and I have got up to the room of rites (the very last bit), but the boss is quite hard

I liked almost all of the Zelda games. I like some of the 'party' based stuff too, though. I dont have any games from within about four years ago with the exception of the sims 2

I've been playing Grandia 2 recently... Very engaging RPG. A party of up to 4, a unique battle system and PLENTY of pyrotechnics

It was a Dreamcast game that got ported over to the Playstation and PC. I'd definitely recommend checking it out sometime

"Millenia, what's going on?!!"

"I CAN'T HEAR YOU! I'm gonna take on that behemoth - and you're gonna help me. C'mon! Let's ROCK!!"

I play Runescape... I haven't been on there in ages though, my major is battling and witchcraft.

I'm also part of a Harry Potter RPG forum as Rosemary Dreamweaver... the Care Of Magical Creatures professor.

random_guy:

there is no way to get mew, save using an action replay pro, or at an official nintendo dealy. surfing around the caves and using strength to push the truck does NOT work.

but, if you have another way, please let me know.
