My guess is because there may be other members who have either been here longer, are older, have experience of modding etc. etc.

Don't let it get you down...come across as a good asset to the forum and I'm sure you'll be a mod one day

I should make a topic on why I should be a mod, haha. Seriously though, I laughed at this topic when I read it. I mean, you're obviously not a newbie and asking to be mod is like, ... being desperate and just telling Ray right there, "Please don't make me a mod."
