36,178 posts	Actually, the reason as to why these people were chosen was not only because they've been around a long time, but because they've been around that long AND have been nothing but a positive influence on the forum, have been helpful, and have been regularly active. If you compared two people who had the same qualities, but one's been the same for 6 months and the other for a year, wouldn't you choose the person who's been good for a year since they've been able to stay that good for that long? There were plenty of excellent candidates that haven't been around long, and there IS a chronology to the good candidates.
