| i dont want famous american and english people, guys.
i think italians, germans, polish and finnish members could show us the most important people of their country - to know more about their culture. 
you could write here those men and women, who should be more recognized all over the world, or even those who are famous, its just that people dont know that they are from YOUR country.
let me start 
do you remember the film 'the whole nine yards'? yeah, that one with bruce willis and matthew perry. actually, the maffia in the film is hungarian. 
sofia loren's son married a hungarian girl (who plays the violin) this year.
sarah connor's 'from sarah with love' video was made in the eastern railway station in budapest, hungary, and the little sarah plays with hungarian cards with the boy.
tony curtis had hungarian parents, though he was born in new york.
count almásy in the film 'the english patient' with ralph fiennes was a hungarian discoverer.
match was invented by a hungarian man.
ferenc puskás, born in budapest, was the player of the team real madrid  between 1958 and 1967.

Limp Bizkit's "Boiler" was filmed in portugal;
Steven Spielberg's new movie with Tom Cruise, War of The Worlds, is filmed in Newark, the biggest place in another country with portuguese people I guess;
