| Lol, i heard it the first time and i though it was ''im blue if i was green i would die'' but then my friends and i listen to it and we thought it was '' im blue and im in the need of of guy'' and when felt really dumb after we saw the lirycs  |

| most of my school when they sang it they thought it was "if i was green i would die" including my brother. i kept insisting that it wasn't though at one point i believed them |

| well when i heard this song the first time i couldn't speak any english, so i didn't anything,
when i got older, i always undestand these dabedida....

| I always thought he said "Im blue I OD' D (overdosed) and I died" I guess since he was blue in color or what I thought that, but whatever its kind of catchy but then I find it stuck in my head all day |

I wish I had a copy of it, or at least a clip of that part, so I could listen again, and also see if it says anything scary backwards. It's so freaky to hear things backwards in songs. |

Da Ba Dee roughly means
"from it drink goodness." I translated it
from Italian. The group is form Italy,
and when the song first came out, they said
it meant something in Italian.

| The best is when I was back in Jr. High when it came out they would play it was dances and EVERYONE would scream the "If I were green I would die" part haha nice to know how stupid we all were as little kids Man I love living in a hick town |

| i knew it was da ba dee da ba die (i think from karaoke, and i was only about 9 when it came out?) but my cousin told me it was "i'm in need of a guy" and my brother said "if i bleed i will die". i've sung it all three ways just for my amusement.  |

| I first thought it was: "I'm blue, if I would bleed I would die, and I will bleed I will die I will bleed I will die" But then I thought it was: "I'm blue, if I were green I would die, if I were green I would die"... but then i read the lyrics here, and i really don't understand why they wanted "du ba dee da..." in their song... 
but it sounds most like the first.... |
