| The Appleseed Cast takes the cake of sad emotional songs. It seems like not that many people have heard of them, because I haven't seen them mentioned yet in this thread. Try these songs, they're unbelievable, just look at the lyrics if you can't get a hold of the songs.

| Someone mentioned Fix you by Coldplay - funny, that is the kind of sad song which makes you feel happy or at least better. At least it works that way for me.
I rarely cry over songs but Loreena McKennitt does the trick for me sometimes. 'Annachie Gordon' for instance, or 'Dickens' Dublin'. And 'If You Were Here' by Poe from her album Haunted. I could also mention 'Mad World' by Gary Jules or 'Prayer for England' by Massive Attack (with Sinead O'Connor). |
