| Dont you just hate it when your wirting notes or sumthing private between u n ur best mates and then the teacher takes the note away from you and reads it him self and then sending letters home to your parents or gurdian saying how rude the letter was and stuff.....i find that very anoying very rude and angry, and 1 person i hate for that is my science teacher.....  |

| ah yeah! we werein english last year, and i took this envelope off my friend, who sits in front of me, to see what was in it, she was shouting at me to give it back etc so then she took this emvelope i had, that had a card in someone wrote me, which has private stuff in. then the teacher was like come to the front NOW and give we whatever note your swapping, and we were like, it isn't a note miss, we were just swapping evvelopes, we got mixed up (yes i did some quick thinking on the spot) then she 'confiscated' both envelopes, stupid teacher, and wasn't gonna give them back, mine was really private/special aswel, tho ohter one had a picture of another girl in my class, who the girl who took my envelope was showing to some boy haha..yeah, and on the front of that envelope it had a message this boy wrote about the pictures, so the teacher was reading it like WHAT!? that was funny..but yeah then she read my private card off someone, and i was like grr.. evilness, and she didn't give it back for ages, i kept asking for it... | | 0 @ 01-10-2004 15:28 QUPNCY | 9,291 posts

| well, as a teacher *ahm ahm* lol I'd like to say that whenever I catch any of my srudents passing notes in the middle of one of my classes, I never take the notes and read them on my own, nor do I read them in front of the whole class, since I feel that this is imapropriate and sabatages in their right for privacy. BUT I do feel the need to let you see how things are from the teacher side. it's not an easy thing to be standing in front of a class, trying to pass on a certain amount of study meterial on a limited time, having to have the subject of study in your students center of attention, so they can understand it completely, and also be tested about it (I don't give tests, but that's just another point for thought about reular teachers), having to deal with distractions that are out of your control, like students speaking to one another while you try to get over their voices, people coming in and out of the class, interfering to the regular structore of the lesson, and also, students passing notes in the middle of the class. yes, it might shock you, but just the same as you students feel tired and annoyed of the class, us teachers, are probably 3 times more tired and annoyed than you. so next time.. when you complain about your teachers.. try to look at things from their side. it might make it easier for you to identify and understand them. |
