i think the best are "take on me" by a-ha cuz i just love it!!its so cute!and i love "rio" by duran duran LOVE IT!the guys are so hot!john taylor,simon and the crab guy!
"sledgehammer" is a cool video too.

I was fascinated by "sadness" by Enigma (don't know if any of you guys know that): in the video they showed close-ups of a statue called "The gates of hell" by Auguste Rodin, but I didn't know that at that time.

Another one was "Innuendo" by Queen, but I don't think that is still 80, though!

Hammer was '90s, or that would certainly qualify. As others said, there are so many: I would submit Tom Petty's "Don't Come Around No More" and the Eurhythmics' "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" as good ones. Anything with either strange cows roaming around or people being eaten like a birthday cake just does it for me.

oh yeah i like that tom petty video with the alice in wonderland theme,it fascinated and freaked me out at the same time.his other video was weard with that dead woman with him and at the end he throws her in the sea and she opens her eyes.

I used to love em. I remember singing to the top of my lungs in front of the mirror and imagining i was her.

You feel silly about Paula Abdul? I was about to say The Lion Sleeps Tonight! It was so camp! I love it! Take on Me was a great video though. Also, I was going to say The Whole of the Moon by the Waterboys but I don't know if anyone remembers that vid. Too high! Too far! Too Soon! LOL

im sure it want 80's but meatloaf's "i would do anything for love" video fascinated me lol i was like 7 and it would ALWAYS come one mtv, it was like beauty and the beast.but now that i watch it its corny lol him on the motorcycle and you're like what that big lumP?hee

I *think* these two videos are 80's, correct me if I"m wrong, but AC/DC "She Shook Me All Night Long" (I hope that's the correct title) and Buggles "Video Killed the Radio Star"
