I have to read this for my english class, from what I've heard there's some animals that die. I absolutley love animals, so if any of you have read it already, please tell me, should I be afraid?

For year 11 or grade 11 in the US you read Ceaser, Hamlet, and some other pointless plays that don't really make any sense.

He's as great as Stephen King and Iain Banks.

tis sad but he doesn't know what he's doing, I feeel sorry for lenny, and the ending is funny with the bunny rabbits he talks to, but he then gets shot by him was so sad.

yes, that's just what was so upsetting...
in the end, George had to do it...for Lenny's sake.

but in the movie, aw man, it was heartbreaking.

well, that's good.
i have such a bad habit of giving away endings.

yeah, we've been talking a lot in class about the connection between killing the puppies, and killing Lennie. Mercy killings.

um.. actually.. it's more than just a mouse... lol.. sad but true.. the farther you get into the story, Candy's dog gets shot by Carlson cos everyone feels soo bad about the dog being so old and miserable, and it's really sad cos Candy agrees that it's time to let the pooch go, and we're reading that book in my sophomore english class right now.. and yeah.. I don't wanna give much away, but eventually, Slim offers Candy one of the puppies.. and something really interesting happens to Curley's wife.. she deserves it for being such a whore! and oh yeah!!! in class.. my teacher is actually showing us the movie after about every 2 chapters and the dog killing in the middle is just sooo sad to watch, the lights were off in the room, and i sat at the front.. but my God. it almost made me cry! i didn't even watch.. it was just the gun shot.. ick! ok.. won't give out any more info.. read the book!!!
