20,467 posts	getting your lip pierced is all the craze now. you have to be creative if your going to get it pierced to be set different then a lot of the other people. like where you want, what size, what kind ring or loop or whatever.

20,467 posts	put a spear through the back of your neck. try it after being kicked in the nuts. 10 bucks says it'll still hurt like a mofo even if your nuts are acheing. you cant get used to that kind of pain no matter what you do unless you use novacain.

14,084 posts	i want my lip done too. and i also want a few other piercings, but my parents have said that as long as i'm living in their house, i can't. they also won't let me get my hair done permanently blue (right now i have dye that washes out) or wear anything to goth, even though i'm not even attempting to be goth. they're also opposed to tattoos...but that's parents for you. once i'm 18, it'll be different. i'll get it all done then.

14,084 posts	Kat, are your parents willing to let you get that done, you being so young and all? if they are, i say go for it. these are the best years of our lives, and we should be able to do what we want to out bodies, i think. i think my parents are just afraid i'm going to end up with tattoos and piercings that i don't want when i'm older. my mom's exact words were "it's my job to keep you from doing anything dumb to your body" but once i'm 18, she won't be able to stop me. lol.

198 posts	I already got it pierced. I like it.. kinda hurts, but it's nice. My mom's okay with it. She just doesn't want me getting my eye brow or something.

22,426 posts	i have 11 piercings 2 of those are lip...umm all i have to say is watch out if you get it done twice b/c i have more than one piercer and they each did a diff one and didnt line em up properly. most people dont notice it but me my best friend and experienced piercers and stuff notice it. other than that it doesnt hurt at all , just poke right through!
