| metallica was awsome.the black album was thier last good album.then it went to shit.
iv heard a few fudge tunnel songs but they werent outstanding
black sabbath is the best because it was the first metal band (i think) along with led zepplin.

| I tend to prefer the metal bands that do more singing, and don't just scream all the time:
Machine Head, Bloodsimpe, Norma Jean-- really hard-hitting stuff
Shadows Fall, Trivium-- Two of the most talented bands out there
Opeth-- Pretty much the most brutal metal band of all time
Zao, Psyopus-- Yeah, I know they mostly scream. But their musical ideas are so complex I had to include them
The Mystik Krewe of Clearlight-- No vocals. Their songs are mostly improvised jams. Really unique stuff
Pantera-- No explaination needed.
There's probably a bunch more that I forgot |
