| How's this for a bad day?
I moved to a new school at the start of the year (my dad's in the army, we move frequently), anywho, this year has been really hard because the school is a alot smaller, and yes, DUMBER than my last school. All year I have copped flak from idiots, because of the way I speak ("big words"), calling me anorexic, a stoner, making fun of my height, the music I listen to (Apparently I am a wannabe mosher/ goth...)
I can tolerate all of this because I know I am their superior, it sounds megalomaniacish, I know, but its true, I only think that because they're extremely nasty.
About today, finally, I think, "wow, schools getting easier, people are becoming friendlier." when out of the blue in maths, these two slurry eating wenches who are supposed to be my "friends" steal my personal copy of Othello and try to write profanities in it. Then at lunch time, they conspire with a few of my other "friends" to grab and throw me to the ground where I was forthwith pelted with crap (empty food packets, bark, etc)
It was extremely undignified, I felt like Quasimodo in the town square.
All of my real friends are interstate or live over seas. |

| ok i just checked your profile and your 22? i also noticed that your in sydney, australia? im in melbourne, and wow, i cant beleive that sort of stuff is still going on in high schools. its like the kinda thing you usually see in those teen comedy movies, ie: she's all that.. lol i duno. anyway, what's happening to you is really bad, i mean the teasing and everything is terrible but what's even worse is that these ppl are using physical abuse on you? that's shocking and pretty serious. if you feel comfortable enough i think you should tell your parents or perhaps a teacher at the school. maybe even go see the councellor or something there. besides the above suggestions, i think you should stick up for yourself. show them your not some new kid that is just gona cop sh*t from ppl they dont even know. give them a run for their money (i hate that saying lol) & fight back, perhaps not physically unless they touch you again but curse, or just sarcastic comebacks i think will show them that they should not be messing with you. make them feel as pathetic and sad as they are TRYING to make you feel. | 0 @ 20-08-2004 07:15 The_Kitsune | 137 posts
| Oh god, better fix my profile, see whenever I sign up for anything, I like to put a date in making me at least over 18, so I dont have to go through with getting parental approval, its been a habit since I was twelve. Now that Im 15, I guess it isnt an issue. | 0 @ 20-08-2004 07:18 The_Kitsune | 137 posts
| Thank you for being so mature and sympathetic. Well, After I got shoved over, I picked myself up and marched up to the yeard advisor and told her, crying and smirking at the same time. I think Im going to start going to the library and practice my anime and manga, listen to Mars Volta. Thanks again. | 0 @ 20-08-2004 07:22 QUPNCY | 9,291 posts
| I see..
It's no problem. What's happening to you really isnt good at all, especially at a place where your there to learn. I really think trying to stick up for yourself is a good option. You seem to have been pretty mature about things yourself by going to the teacher on your own accord, they should have said something to those kids about it. Really hope things get better for you. Good luck & take care. | 0 @ 20-08-2004 10:08 infinite | 704 posts
| hey, i'm sorry for what happened...
well i got something to say..these kids, that are acting like this, are just stupid... but i found out that sometimes things just need to happened in the hard way, and i mean that you have to just be yourself, and ppl will realise that your just gr8, even if it will take them a while.... i know it's hard to think forward when you're in a situation like this, but don't give up, and try to show them your better!
cheer up! good luck! | 0 @ 20-08-2004 10:10 mob5ta | 5,387 posts
