14,084 posts	omg, i know! i can't believe those are BACK in style! aaaaaaah, they were ugly in the 80's... needless to say, i will NEVER buy a pair. ever. my chucks are good enough for me.

121 posts	lol is ug short for ugly, thast funny.....yeah they are kinda ugly. they look great on ppl with long skinny legs, i have long fat legs, so they would just accentuate that.

68 posts	there are phases in fashion where some people dont like a certain piece. Ug boots might be likes by some but not others. i personally think they look horrid but are mighty comfortable. i ..do...have a pair...sorry... i bow my head in shame

14,962 posts	ug boots look good on models and skinny people. fat essex slags that wear them with 'dramatic eye make-up', denim miniskirts and arsenal football shirts whilst eating raw carrots should most definately stay away from them. and me, otherwise they'll get a slap because they dress crap.

849 posts	They are totally ugly and also grannys wwear them. no offense to the old people but old ladies always used to wear them and other people wouldnt be seen dead in them, i hate the way a trend like this comes along and suddenyl people just like them cos everyone else does but they never would have worn them before. cos nobody did wear these before except grannies!!! (now it sounds like i have a really anti-old people obsession but i dont, i just cant get my head around the whole ugg boot thins...i mean were not all gona start wearing rain hoods now its almost winter are we?!)

3,893 posts	They are from Australia. I guess you havent grown up with them. They are real compfy to wear around anywhere but get really hot. And ugg is not short for ulgy, its a generic term for sheepskin footwear in australia. If u were an aussie u would understand its our culture!
