I am a big Nicholas Sparks fan, he wrote the books that inspired the movies Message In A Bottle, The Notebook and A Walk to Remember. All of his books are amazing but my two favorites are The Guardian and The Rescue

the best but the really best books ever are:
His dark materials by Phillip Pullman -Ive read these books thousand times and I still love reading them...
theyre 3 books ...Northern Lights
Subtle Knife
Amber Spyglass

* offtopic :
oh god how I love these books...

then Harry Potter is a great story and I love reading it even for the 20. time

and I quite liked Lord of the Ring too, but I found it quite boring, but maybe later Ill read them again

then Adrian Mole was quite good and funny

The princess diaries 1,2,3,4,5 are really great books and theyre worth reading

then artemis fowl is very interesting too

well Id find many many great books but these are maybe the best Ive read.

So if u like books dont hesitate and read his dark materials because theyre one of the books which one can hardly bear to close

Douglas Coupland is my favourite author, Nick Hornby is my second favourite.

Books: Douglas Coupland: Shampoo Planet, Girlfriend In A Coma, Life After God
Nick Hornby: About A Boy (book is so much better than film and different) and High Fidelity.

I really like Harry Potter and the Princess Diaries series, but my favorite non-series book is Born Confused by Tanuja Desai Hidier, it's really well-written, and it's about an Indian girl who grows up in the States and struggles to find her culture. I really liked it because I could relate to the girl.
