Man Aki! That is so amazing that you are learning so many languages! I might learn my 5th language (Italian) once I begin to take lessons later this year! Good job and keep it up!

If you speak german (which I would expect that you do when you live in Switzerland), why were you so upset then when I switched to german the other day?. I completely fail to understand that. Or are you like most american colleagues that I know here, who live in Germany for 3 years now and still have us switching to english in meetings as soon as they attend. I started to speak german 6 months after I arrived here.

I felt like you were testing me simply because you believe I lie about everything...I honestly don't care what you think about me anymore...Nobody is paying me for every person I trick on LSI..Anyways, that is my explanation..I love German, Spanish...I love every language!

4 languages... Spanish, Catalan, English and French (this last one not fluent but can have a conversation and debate).
I want to learn either chinese or arabic this summer.... any suggestions?? Which language would you recommend? Chinese probably good for the future as it's developing so rapidly and Arabic well, i like the sound of it and they speak it many more countries.

I feel a bit embarassed among you all, guys!
I suppose my native language doesn't count so with clear conscience I can just say two - english and spanish (this one I'm still learning, but I can make myself understood). I can speak Slovak as well, but it's so similar to czech that I decided not to count it either .)
German I was learning for 7 years but forgot it almost completely, since I haven't used it for 10 years. And I can understand russian a bit, but can't speak. Maybe I could learn it someday

Oh, yes, I can understand polish, too! (but it doesn't count anyway, since the question was about speaking)
