Taking a post and a moment to explain why there is a huge cluster of these song lyrics by Véronique Sanson
Véronique Sanson (as seen in the biography quoted below---I assume posted by Celine--Thanks! Merci!) is really both a French songwriter and an American one. Having lived and written/performed in both countries and since 2005 back in France again--makes for a unique personality and testament to her style of songwriting showing longeviity and flexibity over the years. Biography
Véronique Marie-Line Sanson was born on April 24, 1949 in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. Daughter of a lawyer, she started playing the piano. In 1966, during summer holiday, Véronique & her sister Violaine met François Bernheim & founded a duet, Les Roche-Martin. Véronique left university & went to recording studios, where she met Michel Berger. The duet recorded 2 7", unsuccessful, so Véronique went solo. In 1972, she released her first album Amoureuse. Her voice's vibrato & jazzy pop/rock music attracted audience. The following year, she went to the United States & married Stephen Stills. In 1974, their son Christopher Stills was born & Véronique recorded albums like Vancouver.
In 1983, divorced & back in France, she released an album & went on tour in 1985. She joined the project "Les Enfoirés" & played with a symphonic orchestra in 1989. In 1993, she received a Victoire De La Musique for "Female Artist", following her album Sans Regrets. In 1995, Véronique married Pierre Palmade, then released her album Indestructible. The following year, D'Un Papillon À Une Etoile included covers of Michel Berger's songs. Then Véronique disappeared because of alcohol problems. She came back in 2004 with her album Longue Distance, made with her son, it was a real come-back. In January 2005, French Culture Minister Renaud Donnedieu De Vabres decorated Véronique "Officier Des Arts Et Des Lettres".

This version of "Amoureuse" is the German one - not the French one, that does not have a subtitle.
Cargo
by Axel Bauer (1984)
Covered under the title Take Me Home by Roger Daltrey (1987)
