On the songs here, do you prefer them to have the official music video or a lyrical video?

It doesn't matter
As long as it's my electronic music, I don't care what it is.

I meant to select "it depends", as I don't like it when music videos add too much extra stuff that's not part of the song. It's especially annoying when there's stuff that interrupts the song such as dialogue or other background noises. But normally, I like music videos as they are an interesting art form, sort of the band's envisioning of how the song should "look".

It depends
It depends on a lot of factors...

Rather have official video....

If not the official one---then someone's recording of the music with those photoshopped titles of lyrics will do...The Lyrical one I assume you're referring to here....

Or next best is one just showing the song/album cover and they don't do any other work for the video other than making it work....

But rather have "something" to hold a place in the "you tube" video area so I can access the song when I want to hear it rather than getting just the lyrics or nothing at all "Unfortunately we don't have the lyrics for the song____" response here......

The only thing that I think is interesting, is to have music along with the lyrics. What source is used, YouTube, Spotify, Soundcloud, etc, or if it comes with or without a video is not important, let alone the content of the video.

I always try linking the song and lyrics to the director's creation.

If you like the song you can always go to the you tube page and listen to all versions. a similar question could be "do you like pan cakes?" My answer is; who cooked them?

With the you tube lyrics, you can go to the official lyric site and get any lyrics that maybe in doubt or transcribe any lyrics from the artistic site.
