I think it's more weird that you want to be able to snore so you're not "left out."

Hey, I've had way too many serious issues with insomnia to call much of anything "weird" if it allows you to get the sleep you need.

I think it's weird to be an adult male and to have teddy bears. I think as men, we grow out of our teddy bear/stuffed animal phase. Those things are generally meant for children. To be fair, I think it's weird when adult women have teddy bears too; women get away with it because they have tits so guys never say it's weird.

It depends on what you do with the bear. If it has sentimental meaning, and is just hanging out on the bed or on a shelf, I wouldn't care. Still using a bear to cuddle with/sleep with would be strange (for anyone). I have a bear I named Hezekiah that has sentimental value, and he just hangs out in my bed post (I kinda stuff him in between the bars of my headboard =/). But that is one bear. Having several as an adult would be a bit odd. I think women too, tend to be more sentimental for such things. I feel like most guys just don't care, so why would they have them?

None of this is of sentimental value. It's really just something I like and like a lot and it kinda a hobbie if you consider this a hobbie!!

How is this a hobbie if you only have 2? Did you make them? Do you collect them? Because they way you have worded and clarified your statement, you just randomly have 2 bears in your room for no reason. Which, is your own business regardless of what we say here (even though you did ask for our input).

It's like how I have 2 Lisa Frank fuzzy posters of a dragon and wolves that I colored and hung up on my wall. These are geared towards kids, so admittedly, it's a bit strange I colored them and have them on my wall as an adult. And I'm sure if I asked, most people would probably think that is weird for someone my age to have. I however, don't care that I hold certain characteristics of an adult child, so I would never ask a public audience their opinion on the matter. Because I wouldn't remove them even if everyone said I should.

So I guess what I am saying is, what do you hope to gain from this inquiry?

I sleep with my sharks. I like having something to hug at night, and I'm not ashamed of that. You shouldn't be either. It is a bit unusual for an adult male to have teddy bears, but I say do what you like and try not to care what others think.

I do like sleeping with something. I'd rather sleep with teddy bears than anything else any day. It's more enjoyable and it feels weird being my age and having teddy bears and not having someone to share the love with

I sleep with body pillows, so I can understand the comfort in being surrounded by squishy items.

I could never sleep with a body pillow. My mom tried to convince me to get one and I was like nope. Where's the fun in that

Lighten up everyone! This is an open source and free website---costs nothing to join, nobody's membership is at stake here and everyone has an opinion and is entitled to it!

I enjoy reading what everyone has to say----gives me insight into others that if PianoPlayer698 had not asked the question, we'd never have known that Lisa (for example ) doesn't swim with the sharks but likes to sleep with them, and Jen has a cute sentimental bear with its own pet name, and artistic drawings on her walls that please her when she looks at them...

And we discovered who could not care at all about all of this....

I thought I'd posted here somewhere about one teddy bear this old adult has----but its a real collectors item---- I saw it, liked it as a "collectable" and got it (was expensive) [Its here---I searched Amazon, and etc.looking for it, and no one is selling anything like it today---so found article in Wikipedia, with a standing bear that looks like it, so there it is] {Do you got a photo of your two bears PianoPlayer698?}
