If you owned the Samsung Note 7, would you return it?

I'm curious what you would do. Assume that you own it, it doesn't overheat, and it works perfectly.

Yes definitely return it...

Why?

Because life WITH a Samsung Note 7 has become impossible since the FAA (and other agencies are also looking into banning it) from using it on the plane or charging it or carrying it in checked luggage.

I don't need that extra hassle in life (and why risk catastrophic loss of oxygen at 40,000 feet?) Do yourself and your fellow passengers a favor and everyone, please return it.

There might still be a solution---but the negative publicity Samsung has received not only dropped the stock, I'm certain the "Note 8" not yet out, probably got cancelled as the name will be too similar to the top of the line troublesome one---so its a "yes" return it for me.

(TV news showed a few days ago, so I'm trying to find a link, showed the "fireproof" double layer box Samsung is sending customers to put the phone in so the mail truck does not suffer damage to the other mailed items when you add in your Note 7 phone to return it!)

Of course! Life matters more than that lot of money. I will be sad, there's no doubt about it.

I am using Samsung Edge, and boy! does it get hot when I use fast charging option? It gets too hot to handle literally.

Maybe not. Depends partially on whether I'd be given a replacement phone of equal worth or not.

I'm undecided. I own one (if you couldn't tell) and as I said, it hasn't had any of the symptoms of the bad ones (phone hot when charging or using). Supposedly, if I do return it, they will give up to a $100 bill credit within 90 days if I choose another Samsung phone. Yes, PP, I know about the planes. I don't have any vacation plans so that's no problem. Uhm, so I'm still debating on what to do.

Yes, I believe I would. Even if you haven't noticed it overheating yet doesn't mean it won't in the future, and if airlines ban it that could be rather inconvenient.
