Just as I was posting my first support thread today, I clicked on the "Following!" yellow button to see if I"m following it as it says "zero" (0) members are following it.
I assumed we each get to follow (unless we uncheck the box) our own threads we create.
And another problem occurs if you click on the "Following!" yellow box it turns off the following, but since the ones I just did in question have "zero" (0) as following, guess what? Turning it off causes it to announce that we have now (-1) following! Never saw that before here!
(Edit) Of course posting this new topic/thread meant here is another instance of the followers being "zero" even though I made certain I checked the box saying "follow" when I wrote and posted the thread right now Refer to this thread : Following says zero when I am starter of topic

So look at this one:
Thank you for liking my post has 2 followers myself and Joeyy
Two notification weird minor bugs has just 1 follower, myself.
Yet the latest two threads I started here. both say "zero" (0) followers even if I am following it as the creator of the thread!
Weird...
See Minor new design question from today = "zero" followers.
See 404 Page not found in profile followed topics also = "zero" followers.
