it depends... you can get one at the wal-mart, like for 90 dollars, or you can get a Fender Stratocaster for like 500,
but i am not really sure... i live in mexico
my ibanez was almost 400...

lowend squires, yamahas and washburns go anyfrom $69 canadian to $499 canadian

really good guitars cost upwards of $5000 canadian

My dream guitar is about $1, 100...damn those Les Pauls and their expensiveness. But, I think the cheapest guitar I've ever seen was around a hundred dollars.

In australia they start at about $250+. Check out www.musiciansfriend.com. I think they ship internationally

 I have Les Paul that was supposed to cost $2500. But I didn't pay near that for it. Just check on Ebay.
