This is the place to discuss the most recent season of Game of Thrones. That is currently season 6. If you aren't caught up to season six, don't read this thread.

Due to some people (like me) watching the most recent episodes at least a day behind and some being a season or two behind, i thought it would be a good idea to keep spoilers out of Randomness or wherever.

Fair warning, SPOILERS BELOW! If you haven't watched the most recent episode of the most recent season aired, do not view this thread. IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING SPOILED BY READING THE THREAD BEFORE YOU WATCH THE MOST RECRNT EPIDODE AIRED, YOU'RE AN IDIOT AND IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT.

Please keep the discussion to the most recently aired episode and any previous ones. I know from time to time advanced episodes leak, do not spoil them for those of us who watch them as or right after they air. If you spoil something for me or anyone else on purpose, i will murder you. That's not a joke, if you intentionally spoil something that hasn't aired yet, you won't breathe anymore.

Fortunately the show is beyond the books now so I don't have to tell you readers not to spoil shit the show hasn't covered yet. In fact, if you're one of those people who like to read and want to discuss how things in the book were different from previous seasons of the show, have at it. I'll make fun of you for reading, but feel free to do it.

I've intentionally made this intro long to protect the innocent. Once again though IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOST RECENT EPISODE AIRED, DO NOT READ THIS THREAD, IT WILL RUIN THE EPISODE FOR YOU.

So, thoughts on last nights episode? I mean Tyrion having a moment with the dragons? The wildlings at the wall, so much shit happened.

I have to say, the midget and the dragons was awesome. I was confused by the beginning thing with Bran, but it was accompanied by the triumphant return of Hodor. I didn't see Ramsey killing his father coming. The shit with the dogs afterward was rough, but very much in character with how you'd expect a sociopath to act. I forgot Elder Greyjoy was even a person, so I'm not reeling from his loss. And I saw the John Snow revival coming last episode when I saw the title of the last episode was The Red Woman. But yeah, great episode. Lots of things happening. Can't wait to see what the blowback is on the resurrection (what the cost is), how much of a dick Whatshisname the Boy King becomes if he lets his mother make him "strong", what's about to happen with the priest guys and Jamie, and the whole Bran thing looks interesting.

Is it fucked up that I'm more excited for the return of Hodor than I am for John Snow?

So to make you feel better about randomness last night, all i saw between you two was the dragon thing, i read the first part of your first post, saw a little of anth's first post, and that was it. Even if I had seen where you talked about his eyes opening, i had already seen that coming and kinda figured it would play out just about how it did. Fortunately i stopped reading that whole page before Anth mentioned the Boltons, so that was still shocking to me.

I'm pretty pumped that Jon Snow is back, it confirms how major of a character he is. R+L=J, yo. Ramsay is a monster but this move is going to cost him in the long run. Alienate many of the houses and send them over to the other side. I think Sansa and Jon are going to unite and bring the North together. Littlefinger is going to commit the knights of the vale because he wants to give Sansa the D. All of that coupled with the Martels in Dorne, and probably Daenyrys with the dragons is going to make for one hell of an ending to this.

the best scene by far was WunWun smash, i legit yelled holy shit when it happened because i didn't expect it

needed Snow to come back, it just annoys me, i recognize it was the only way for it to happen but it feels like with so many major characters felled, it's a cop out to bring one back like that. but that's just me opinion.

That scene was pretty awesome. The shit with the mountain was pretty entertaining; I really want to see his face under the helmet.

I'm scared shitless of The Mountain. The thing 2 years ago where he crushed that dude's face still haunts my dreams, i can't imagine what he'll do now that he's some kind of quasi-zombie demon thing.

His eyes, theres just nothing there but death. The poison he was injects with by Oberyn is supposed to turn blood into thick ooze. Whatever that maester did is horrific.

I was so angry when they stopped where they did. Interesting that he isn't just looking back though, he's actually going back in time. Makes sense how he'd get lost and stay there if he forgets whats real and whats the past.

I always figured that his "little birds" were people, street kids make sense considering their low cost, ability to overhear just about anything.

The time travel thing intrigues me, cant help but wonder how long its going to take for Bran to start altering the past a little (or a lot), plus its a great way to get insight into pre-season 1 events without doung a flashback or something like that.
