Allow people to see who reported them and for what reason.

Lisa, it matters because though us peasants can't see behind the doors of the mod castle, I know you aren't all on the same page. I've had private conversations with most mods here, usually after cards, to know that. I think us peasants should be informed so we know when someone may be targeting unfairly. I've certainly had that happen to me and it's a safeguard against that. I know it won't change, but luckily I've found out other ways to get what I want.

Can you give me an example of when you've been targeted unfairly? (One that isn't ten years old.)

Let's be real, Jeff makes himself an easy target.

Yes, yes he does, and he needs to cut it out because this wouldn't be a thing had I not been butthurt over a useless comment he made. They add up, and they got frustrating and irritating.

Curt, what's your ban meter at? Kinda curious

I forget the exact details, but I remember when Joey gave me a laugh worthy card right after I argued with her over her declaration to refuse to wear a dress at a wedding lol. Not necessarily targeting, but I also remember when TT very, very obviously was expressing her completely fake outrage over something stupid and I got carded for making a joke about her having a third leg. I have a hard time believing all the mods are that gullible or that another member would've been carded

If you think having 1.whatever% after a year is bad you should have seen it a few years back. I had to message ray because a couple of 2 year old cards were keeping me from modding an artist, above 5% ban meter status. If i remember correctly he tweaked some things and it's a ton better now.

It's only 12.06%. It was worse years ago under different usernames because I'd get to 100% and then it would lower at such a slow rate that one card a year would send me to ban land.

You may feel that we are all idiots, but I assure you that most of us have agreed on the cards you've been given. You have not been targeted by any mod for as long as I can remember. (And I have a good memory.)

I'd also like to report that I was wrong about the ban meter system change, ray just manually added me as a mod for the artist I was wanting to do work on. It apparently takes longer for the last little bit to gk away, and if you have a higher van meter, each additional card counts harder against you. The second half of that makes sense to me i guess, but I'd think letting the top end of your ban meter reduce slowly would be better, but whatever.

Jer, you were right about Ray tweaking the ban meter a bit because I wanted to mod artists but I couldn't. I messaged him and he tweaked the ban meters. I believe he mentioned it though.

5) I blame Joey

I don't think you were carded over our disagreement about my wearing a dress, but this thread wasn't created as a place to whine about past cards. I don't have much to add other than that I agree about the ban meter system taking (past tense?) too long to go down.

Thanks Curt. I got sidetracked and forgot I asked, but that's what I thought we had set up, so people can at least see what the cards are. Does it link to the post or are you suppose to figure that out on your own?

The ban meter works like a half-life, sort of. Part of it goes away every day, but the amount that goes away slows down as you get closer to the end. But the way it's set up, the more cards you have, the less room you have before you get banned and the longer it takes for it to go away. Also, you'll likely never see a 0% ban meter after getting a card, again, because half-lives. Something is always going to be there, even if it's a fraction, cuz math/science.

I have 27 cards and my ban meter takes about ten days to go down a percent... lmao

I prefer to think of the ban meter like herpes, it's never gone.

And you get outbreaks right when you're about to have a good time?

I enjoy this place more when people are doing things card worthy so yeah I guess. Sometimes you get lucky and don't get a card, but eventually, herps.

Well, similar again to herpes, hopefully the act is worth it.

Similar still, it usually isn't worth it but its tends to be a part of a pretty good story.

A small note on penalties; after an update last year penalties expire after 1000 days and the drop rate goes faster. So the days that you're stuck at a high percentage are over. After 1000 days max you can see a 0% again.

Ah. so it's more like crabs.

My post got lost in the conversation between Jen and Curt, I still think transparency is the way to go as far as who reported whom.

I disagree as it could cause a flame war or retaliation.

We're all going to argue and disagree anyway, instead of it all getting bottled up and exploding it'd be better to get it out as it happens.

What Joe said but we'll disagree in an appropriate and a respectable way.

Hopefully.
