Found one of my first video game recording and shockingly, it has semi decent quality. Was playing Modern Warfare 2. Brings back so many memories. That video was probably recorded in 2011...

I got the Huawei P9, Scott. It's significantly bigger than my HTC, which is a downside (I've small hands), but the camera's very fancy. I waited until they had the Lite model in store, but it was no smaller like they suggested it would be. Also I miss the vibrations of the HTC... Can barely hear/feel these. But overall it's not too shabby.

How are bail charges decided in the US? Is it case-by-case or always X amount for X crime?

I believe there are guidelines per type of offense, but the number set is case by case. Crime and individual circumstances both factor in.

I've been reading some of this Johnny Depp/Amber Heard nonsense today and I have very mixed emotions about all of the people defending him. She's claiming some very serious stuff, which if true would totally ruin him. And now all these people are coming forward that she's lying. On the one side I feel like it's a terrible stance to take, calling a potential abuse victim a liar, but what if she really IS lying? That would make her the terrible person, ruining someone's life because your relationship failed. That would be very shitty of her.

My view on that is that, whether or not she's lying, only her and Johnny Depp know that. Ex partners (or whoever) saying it's nonsense is nonsense in itself. People can change; can snap. Someone not having done something in the past never means they can't do it in the present or future.

But yeah, it sucks people would accuse her of lying, but there is always that possibility; it's fucked when it happens.

My great grandmother has been through it all - breast cancer, many surgeries, broken bones and the latest, a colostomy. Life is a bitch, she's got a heart of gold.

Exactly, they don't know what goes on, just as much as we don't know. So it's a hard stance to take, acting like you know him better because of your past. But at the same time, the police report doesn't support her claim either. No injuries when they were called, but 2 days later she claims injuries from the night they were called. Either shitty police work or she's a better actress than anyone knew.

I don't know if the police have released any kind of formal statement about it, but I read two different articles on it; one claiming the police reported there were no injuries and the other claiming their report did support her accusations. Gave up trying to follow after that; the media just aren't trustworthy enough.

My grandma and grandpa fell a few times when they were older, but never broke their hip.

Joey, that seems nice. I'll have to take a look at it online. They usually have a guideline for bail, but if the judge thinks the crime is very bad or the accused will do it again he/she can refuse bail. If they approve bail, then the defendant will have to pay 10% down usually and get a bail bondsman.
