No, actually this week wasn't bad. Was out early-ish every day, went out for drinks/food Wednesday with everyone from work, had a half day of work and fun afternoon with Bryan yesterday and the weather has been awesome. Just haven't had a long weekend in a while. It will be nice.

I'm not a Captain America fan but I'm sure if I was I would agree. My family refuses to believe it though. I'll try to show them an article & they won't read it. I think they're in denial. They also refuse to believe that the movie will follow the comic book? But didn't Winter Soldier & Civil War follow the comic? Whatever. If I'm going to be upset about a comic I'll continue to be upset with how Ed Brubaker ended The Fade Out.

Winter Soldier and Civil war borrowed elements from the comic story lines, but didn't stick to it completely. Probably for the best, Civil War gets lauded as a landmark for Marvel but it's kind of a disorganized mess in terms of Millar's writing. A lot more dumb than smart in it imo.

That said looking back I still think it's dumb but I'll wait to see how it plays out, maybe there's a great payoff.
