A slow and painful death

A fallen angel with broken wings
Forgotten how to fly
Lying on the floor alone
Just waiting and hoping to die

All this pain
Tried so hard to ignore
Feel like letting go
Can't take it no more
Whisper in the dark:
"Don't cry for me, please
It's better this way
And tonight I'll might find peace"
