Dedicated to Phil.

---------------------------------------------------------

The following is a paid broadcast from Stanley...

*insert commercial jingle*

Please, people, let's not forget what the great HappyLion said when he first opened this thread back in '02...

Tired of "favorite..."s and "hate..."s?
Tired of religious wars?
Tired of disputes over words like "gay"?
Feeling random...?

Or are you just one of those people who don't make any sense anyway...?

THEN DROP BY THE RANDOMNESS, THE PLACE WHERE YOU CAN JUST GET THAT WEIRDNESS OFF YOUR MIND!

-----------------------R U L E S-------------------------

1. Posts in this thread (with this one as a possible exception...) may make no sense whatsoever!

2. Try to read all existing posts before posting a new one...

3. DO NOT USE MORE THAN 3 SMILEYS PER POST!

4. BE ORIGINAL!

5. Have fun for Christ's sake!

6. (Don't) Spam!

Meh, I'm a competitor. I wasn't gonna let something like weather keep me from doing my best to beat out the competition.

At least you've got a good mindset.

Goal for tomorrow: Not get up at 11, finish economics and go to the gym. Probably will fail 99%.

American Idol is weird. I think the first season was the only one I actually watched, and I remember parts of the one Carrie Underwood was in. I was reading an article about the winners and it said that all of them have had successful careers and released more than one album. Uhm, I've never heard of most of them nor heard of any of their songs. And then there's the runners-up, and not just the 2nd placers, but those who took like 7th! I've heard more about them than the winners. I'm glad they're ending the show, because clearly winning it means nothing.

Was that in school, Jen? When it snowed here, outdoors PE (hockey, netball, etc.) was cancelled, so they'd make us go for a walk in it instead.

American Idol is lame, I prefer the X Factor.

Also, that sounds like a boring time in PE. :[

It was in high school, but not PE. This was school team sports. We'd travel to track meets and with tracking being a spring sport, often there were chilly temperatures.

As much as I would love to sit here and play these ridiculous games, I think it's time to turn off all of these electronic devices minus the tv and cellphone and go to bed. Deuces homies.

I never understood the point of PE if you were in a school sport. All the sports we learned sucked because you had people that couldn't care less about athletic activity mixed in, so they put in no effort, and that just made playing boring. And you couldn't be physical or really play for the same reason. PE should be for those who don't exercise otherwise. And if we're talking the health aspect, we had a health class!

While I suck at most sports, I really liked PE as the coach made the sports interesting. We studied the history and the rules and he tried to get us to play better.

And I think that it's good to have that available for those who aren't big into sports, but may still want to learn about them and try them out. For me, PE was super boring because I played basketball, softball, volleyball, track, I tried tennis, and was a swimmer. So learning how to play a sport I already play competitively, was pointless. But, it was an easy class I didn't have to put any effort into, which was kinda nice. So yay PE!

I've got on smart rabbit.

I normally put more water in his dish and give him pellets right around now and he was making all sorts of noise because he was telling me that my dumbass forgot to do that. Smart little guy. :p

Not sure how he's hungry and thirsty as he had unlimited access to hay and water. :p He just really likes pellets.

Pretty much, he's dependent on 75% hay, 20% pellets and 5% carrots and other greens.

Football in the snow is dope as hell.

Only PE sport everyone got amped for was floor hockey (gym teacher basically let us get away with murder) and wrestling (our gym teacher was a colligiate wrestler, if you could score a point on him he'd give you an A and excuse from class for the rest of the semester)

Other than that team sports always more fun

Unobservant Gary. :p

I wish we did dodgeball here. It's not very common and it always looked like fun to me.

My PE teacher kept it fun by allowing the goths, nerds, losers, etc just skip gym and he would still give them a D. That way they didn't make it unfun for everyone else.
