This one goes to Piggly Wiggly, which was my intended win, and Sinkhole de Mayo.

---------------------------------------------------------

The following is a paid broadcast from Stanley...

*insert commercial jingle*

Please, people, let's not forget what the great HappyLion said when he first opened this thread back in '02...

Tired of "favorite..."s and "hate..."s?
Tired of religious wars?
Tired of disputes over words like "gay"?
Feeling random...?

Or are you just one of those people who don't make any sense anyway...?

THEN DROP BY THE RANDOMNESS, THE PLACE WHERE YOU CAN JUST GET THAT WEIRDNESS OFF YOUR MIND!

-----------------------R U L E S-------------------------

1. Posts in this thread (with this one as a possible exception...) may make no sense whatsoever!

2. Try to read all existing posts before posting a new one...

3. DO NOT USE MORE THAN 3 SMILEYS PER POST!

4. BE ORIGINAL!

5. Have fun for Christ's sake!

6. (Don't) Spam!

That's what I thought, but my only source was a few internet strangers in a Reddit thread and I didn't want to risk sounding like an idiot. They can't really garnish your wages either because then there's no incentive to work at all, or just collect under the table. But yes, insurance is a massive scam mainly because you're forced to have it so you have no leverage. It's seriously insane that I pay a good chunk for insurance but because my deductible is so high, I just end up paying for med visits anyways. I know my Mom has an 80-20 plan so she pays out the ass for insurance and then still pays 20% of the bill.

it's why universal health care is best, there are of course drawbacks in terms of wait times and availability,

but it sure as hell beats needing to take out a second mortgage to pay for a medical procedure and never being able to dig your way out of debt

Pinka - I'm sorry about your mom. I'll pray for her if you want. Cancer is a b****.

Joeyy - I would want to see the current members of the band.

The medicine you cited, Joey is an NSAID and listed as a limited use drug. With a quick Yahoo Search the prices where around ~180-270 USD which would be without insurance. That is crazy for something that's an NSAID. I can't take NSAIDs anyway so it would be useless for me. After insurance it's probably around the 5-15 USD range per month.

FireWaterBurn6- it's just like any debt - they can send you to collections, put it on your credit report, and sue you. If you're judgment proof like the guy that was mentioned in the thread, then it's a big waste of time for the hospital to do that. Best thing to do is request a list of stuff they did to you at the hospital because the bill could contain errors. Depending on the hospital if you can prove you have low income they will delete large portions of the bill.

I need to write myself a post-it to remember to go get more post-its. Or I'll just go get them now. Good way to kill time.

How can the supply room be out or post-its? Post-its are essential!

We'll meet again,
Don't know where,don't know when,
But I know we'll meet again, some sunny day.

Out of post-its? That's disappointing

Pointless knowledge of Kirsten Dunst films ftw.

Are balls particularly hot?

The huge pile in Boston just melted the other day Jeff, pretty insane indeed.
